August 2002 Skippack Ridge
Community Association Board of Directors
meeting was held at Mike Roynan's home. Attendee's included Bob Arch, Mike
Roynan, Fran Tendall, Bill Turner, Mike Washington and several community members.
Topics addressed included:

Adverse
consent on adjacent common grounds - Folks in the community have
expressed interest in utilizing common grounds for various reasons. It is
required to submit, in writing to the Skippack Ridge Board of Directors,
exactly what your plans are for utilizing common grounds. The plan will be
reviewed and voted on.

Bids for maintenance of common grounds
- 3 landscaping companies
are bidding on the maintenance of our common grounds.

> Providence Landscaping
The
bids will be reviewed and a selection will be made by the Skippack Ridge
Board of Directors. With regards to hedgerows along the sloping hills in
the community, it was decided that these may not be needed at this time
due to recent grading performed by the current landscaping crew. Costs for
the hedgerows will be solicited in the event this decision is changed.

96-1 Any person who owns, harbors, keeps or is in charge of any dog
within or frequenting the township shall not permit such dog to be
unattended w/in the township unless such dog is within the bounds of such
dog owner's private property. Said dog owner shall require said dog is to
be restrained by a leash or other appropriate device of control off that
owner's private property so that it cannot stray beyond the premises on
which it is secured, or under reasonable control of some person, which for
the purpose of this article shall be "curbing". Such curbing
shall be permitted only on public streets and on private property with the
express permission of the owner of such property.

96-4 Enforcement
A. The provisions of this article shall be enforced by the code
enforcement officer, his duly authorized representatives, or any officer
of the township.
B. In undertaking the enforcement of this article, the township is
assuming only to promote the general welfare. The township is not
assuming, nor is it imposing on any of its officers or employees, an
obligation for breach of which it is liable in law or equity to any person
who claims that any breach proximately caused injury.
C. A violation of this article shall not be considered negligence per se.

Max & Lynn Barajas submitted their plan for planting trees next to the
side of their home, on the common grounds easement. They offered to cover
all costs associated w/ this effort. The Skippack Ridge Community
Association is reviewing the plan and will deliver a response to the
Barajas's at the next Board meeting. This is contingent upon other 'common
ground' issues being resolved first.
