- Reviewed and
approved last meeting’s minutes.
- Treasurer’s
report: There are still some outstanding community association dues;
reminders will be sent to those residents who have not paid. An
Operating Budget for 2006 is being prepared and will be posted on
our website at
www.SkippackRidge.com
- After
evaluating several landscaping bids and references, we have selected
Louis F. Biase for our landscaping contractor for 2006.
- A decision was
made to acquire estimates for new landscape lighting at the
front-entrance area. The current lights were put in by the builder,
and have not been working properly for quite some time. We will seek
estimates to remove the faulty lighting and to replace with new
lighting.
- Albert was
contacted by the Delaware Valley Deer Management Association (DVDMA),
inquiring for permission to continue to bow hunt on our lower common
ground in the fall. The Board has decided not to allow the hunting.
- The Board
meeting’s minutes will be posted on our website once again. Bob
Older is looking into a personal-password access for our website in
order to ensure neighborhood privacy.
- Bill Turner,
our SR website designer, noted that our web host provider indicated
that we are 300% over-utilized in disk space capacity; therefore all
SkippackRidge.com eMail addresses were deleted. This action
wiped out our Distribution list ("everyone"). Please take a
few minutes to submit your "eMail re-add request" to the Skippack
Ridge community-wide distribution list. The instructions are
located here: http://www.skippackridge.com/emailDistList.htm
Note: this link is located on the left border of every page titled "eMail
Distribution List".
- Our annual SR
Spring Clean-Up Day and neighborhood common-area/tree mulching was
be held on April 1. A flyer was sent to everyone with
information.
- Board member
elections are due to be held in April. The positions of President
and Secretary are at the end of their term. Each Board member serves
a two-year term. Nomination and voting ballots will be sent out to
all residents.
- The next Board
meeting will be held at the Skippack Township Municipal Building (http://www.skippacktownship.org/new_building.htm)
on Tuesday, April 18, at 7 PM. All Skippack Ridge residents are
encouraged to attend and vote; if you cannot attend, please turn in
your voting ballot to any Board member.
