There have been some articles about the possibility of
Graterford Prison being relocated and the land opened up
for development. This does not seem to be a likely
option based on the current zoning and the anticipated
costs involved versus the cost the relocation versus the
cost of renovating the existing facilities.

There have also been some articles concerning high
levels of TCE in the air in the Collegeville/Trappe
area. Note that these levels are within EPA/DEP
guidelines. There will be a public meeting on this
issue on February 20th from 7
to 9 pm at the Musser Auditorium in the Pfahler Building
of Ursinus College. A link to an article
concerning this topic is presented here.
