  • The last meeting’s minutes were reviewed and approved.
  • Treasurer’s update: Budget was presented and discussed.  Don't forget to mail in the association dues.
  • Landscaper bids for next year were discussed.
  • The nomination process for the yearly board election was discussed.  Nomination forms will be distributed next week, please remember to fill them out and hand them in.
  • There have been some articles about the possibility of Graterford Prison being relocated and the land opened up for development.  This does not seem to be a likely option based on the current zoning and the anticipated costs involved versus the cost the relocation versus the cost of renovating the existing facilities.
  • There have also been some articles concerning high levels of TCE in the air in the Collegeville/Trappe area.  Note that these levels are within EPA/DEP guidelines.  There will be a public meeting on this issue on February 20th from 7 to 9 pm at the Musser Auditorium in the Pfahler Building of Ursinus College.  A link to an article concerning this topic is presented here.
